New material from Toronto’s favorite hip hop artist, Drake has surfaced. The track, titled “Over” is produced by fellow Torontonian, Boi-1da and is the first official single off his debut album, Thank Me Later. The album has been slotted for a May release under Young Money and will reportedly feature the work of Kanye West, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and The Dream. Listen here at 1867: Canadian Collective.

Gold Medal Celebration

Team Canada’s women’s hockey team celebrated in style, returning to the ice of Vancouver’s GM Place moments after their victory against the US with cigars, beer and champagne. Still dressed in their gear, with gold around their necks the women’s team partied on home ice, drinking, smoking, and even climbed aboard the zambony. While the team continues to receive flak from many directions, the IOC has backed off, stating they will not investigate the Canadian-esque celebration.
