<p><a title="groundedtv" href="http://www.getgrounded.tv/gtv/GTV_MAIN_.html" target="_blank">Grounded TV</a> is a Canadian culture Station in the midst of an evolving wireless era. In 2007 Syd Woodward and Harold Richter started The Word &#8212; a web based TV series that revolved around thought provoking hip hop culture. Within approximately the next year Syd came up with the idea of Grounded TV, a web based network of culturally and socially relevant content.<span id="more-1836"></span> The Word would be one among many series featured on Grounded TV along with POP&#8217;T Culture &#8212; a new series with a focus on local and global culture through platforms of activism, music, art, and politics.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="line-height: 18px; font-size: 14px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 12px; margin-left: 0px;">At 550 Queen St. E in Toronto, hundreds of antique television sets dating all the way back to the 1920s up until the 70s line the walls of the MZTV Museum of Television. Moses Znaimer, the man behind MuchMusic, Citytv, and Zoomer magazine, has developed something of an obsession with preserving the physical history of television.<span id="more-1598"></span> The MZTV, which features some really cool looking television sets from throughout TV&#8217;s history, is a result of this obsession. It&#8217;s easy to view the sets as art objects in the elegant setting Znaimer has created. &#8221;Not only are they beautiful,&#8221; says Znaimer, &#8220;but they are rapidly disappearing.&#8221; Here in this museum, a history of television unlike any other in the world has been preserved for all to enjoy. Among Znaimer&#8217;s collection lie many unique items, including Marilyn Monroe&#8217;s television set, and the original Felix the Cat figurine that was featured in the earliest television images.</p>
