Off The Hook x Brakeless Collection

Montreal-based boutiques Off The Hook and Brakeless have collaborated on this collection of biking essentials. Having teamed up with designers Dylan Adair and Jeremy Wirth, they introduce a 5 panel, Quintin-produced hat that features a reflective strap in the back. A messenger bag by Re-Load which features the official OTHxBRKLSS logo, and four graphic tees are included in the collection. The standout item however, is the Sylvester-built custom welt Marinoni bike frame.

Created around the ideologies of the collective companies, the video suggests that ignorance of new marketing tactics might prove costly for traditional ad firms.

NORML x DURKL: Capital Club

Gold Medal Celebration

Team Canada’s women’s hockey team celebrated in style, returning to the ice of Vancouver’s GM Place moments after their victory against the US with cigars, beer and champagne. Still dressed in their gear, with gold around their necks the women’s team partied on home ice, drinking, smoking, and even climbed aboard the zambony. While the team continues to receive flak from many directions, the IOC has backed off, stating they will not investigate the Canadian-esque celebration.

HTT Pléthore LC 750

HTT Technologies is the Quebec-based auto company responsible for the design, concept, manufacturing, and marketing of the Pléthore Supercar. Featuring a carbon fiber chassis and body, mated to a 750hp 6.2 liter V8, the Pléthore LC750 grabs inspiration from the McLaren F1 model with its driver positioned in the center and 2 passanger seats veered to each side. The Supercar from HTT also features Lambo-style verticle doors. The HTT Pléthore LC 750 has a pricetag of $395,000 CDN.

Rockin in Paper is a stop motion feature by Montreal-based artist, Nicolas Ménard. Ménard excels in graphic design, motion graphics, and illustration. Using paper and everyday products and materials, he created this really cool video featuring Capcom’s Rockman embarking on an epic adventure in unique surroundings.
