Streets of Plenty is a documentary which takes a deep, heart-wrenching look at the problem of homelessness in Vancouver. The 2009 Queens — and Oxford International Film Festival selection is based around a one-month long social experiment in which one man gave up his ordinary life to explore his days and nights as an individual without a home in Vancouver’s downtown eastside. The film touches on issues of hardcore drug use, violence, and social conflicts that afflict the city’s homeless population.
