Adam Sandler, alongside Canadian, Seth Rogen star in the dark comedy, Funny People which opens in theatres today. From Judd Apatow, who brought you The 40 Year-Old Virgin, and Knocked up, Funny People features Seth Rogen cast as Ira Wright, a young comedian and flashback version of George (Adam Sandler), a Jewish kid with wide-eyed L.A. dreams. Sleeping on his friend’s couch and looking for his big break, while working at a supermarket deli and doing stand-up for free, Seth’s character finds himself hired by George Simmons to write jokes and help the troubled comedian through a rough patch in his life.
