Che Kothari dedicates his time to his work as a photographer, filmmaker, managing editor, project manager, event producer, and humanitarian — quite an impressive resumé. Che was born in Guelph, Ontario and moved to Toronto at 17. His photography is centered around portraits captured in such a way that each photo seems to unfold the life story of his subject. Kothari has worked with an impressive list of celebrities including Canada’s K-os, and international musicians such as Buju Banton, TI, Common, Faith Evans, and Talib Kweli.
A heavily involved humanitarian, Che Kothari contributes to many projects including Manifesto – a non-profit organization started by Che that is geared towards community building among the urban youth.
